Shiftwave was founded by Kirat Singh, who spent over three years at Amazon Web Services across database support, cloud engineering, and solutions architecture roles — working hands-on with Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL & Oracle), Aurora PostgreSQL, and Timestream, and later designing secure, cost-optimized cloud architectures for enterprise customers in finance, healthcare, and SaaS. That included guiding customers through migration, Well-Architected reviews, and early adoption of generative AI tools like Amazon Bedrock. He is AWS Certified as a Solutions Architect – Associate, SysOps Administrator – Associate, and Data Engineer – Associate.
